Qualification :
To be eligible to apply for the post, the candidates must have passed +2 Examination or such other qualification as are equivalent qualification with knowledge in Basic Computer Skills.
General Eligibility Criteria
- be a citizen of India
- be of good character.
- be of sound health and free from organic defects and physical deformity.
- not have more than one spouse living.
- able to speak, read and write Odia.
- have passed Odia as one of the subjects in the High School Certificate Examination or an examination in Odia language equivalent to M.E. standard recognized or conducted by the School and Mass Education Department, Government of Odisha.
Salary
The Salary is Rs. 19,900/- to Rs. 63,200/- Per Month.
Selection process
As per Odisha Police Junior Clerk Recruitment 2024 Notification the applied Candidates will be selected by the process of
1. Written Examination
2. Practical Skill Test
3. Document Verification (DV)
Written Test
The Written Test shall comprise of two Papers i.e. Paper-I and Paper-II. Details of the subjects and marks of the Papers are given below.
Paper - I
- Language Test (English & Odia Objective) - 100 Marks
- General Knowledge (Objective) - 100 Marks
- Total Marks - 200 Marks & Time Duration - 03 Hours
Paper - II
- Basic Arithmetic, Mathematics & Reasoning (Objective) - 100 Marks
- Basic Computer Skill (Objective) - 100 Marks
- Total Marks - 200 Marks & Time Duration - 03 Hours
Final Selection
Following the Practical Skill Test on Computer, a common merit list will be generated based on the combined marks obtained by the candidates in the Written Examination and the Practical Skill Test on Computer.
