Age Limit
- Minimum Age limit: Must have 18 Years

Educational Qualification:-
(1) The minimum qualification of the candidate should be 10 +2 pass or its equivalent qualificationas notified from time to time by CHSE, Odisha with Computer proficiency.
(2) The candidate shall be able to speak, read and write Odia fluently and must have Passed Middle School examination with Odia as a language subject, or
(3)Passed Matriculation or equivalent examination with Odia as medium of examination in non language subject, or
(4)Passed in Odia as language subject in the final examination of Class VII or above; or
(5)Passed a test in Odia in Middle English School Standard conducted by the School and Mass Education Department.
Computer Proficiency:
- The candidates having computer proficiency of O level and use of odia language in Computer are eligible to apply for the post of GRS.
- The candidates having higher computer qualifications like BCA, PGDCA, MCA, B Tech (IT/Computer Science), B.E. (IT/Computer Science) can also apply.
Friends Computer proficiency is only qualifying in nature and shall not count for determining the order of merit. So prepare Your Valid Computer certificate. Attach this in application form.
GRS Selection Process :
- Selection will be made strictly on the basis of marks obtained in 10+2 or its equivalent examination. ( No Exam )
- Marks secured in the fourth optional shall not be included, Provided that, in case two or more candidates secure the same marks without 4th optional in +2 or its equivalent examination, the candidate older in age as per date of birth in the HSC Certificate (within the stipulated age limit) will be placed above the younger.
- Further, if the age of two or more candidates is same, the candidate who has passed HSC examination earlier will be placed above the other in the selection list. So All Merit List will publish according to Marks.
Remuneration & Nature of the Job-
The posts are purely contractual for execution of works under MGNREGS & co-terminus with the Scheme. The selected candidates can be posted in any Gram Panchayat of this District by virtue of the order of the appointing authority. This is on Contract Basis May be change in Future or depends on Projects.
So The newly engaged GRS will get a consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs. 7,000/-, after successfully worked for more than 1 year & less than 6 years will get 8500/- per month and will get 8880/- per month after successfully worked for more than 6 years, which may be revised from time to time as per rules.

1. Interested candidates may submit their application in the prescribed application format duly filled along with self-attested required documents to be submitted in a sealed cover super scribed "Application for the post of Gram Rozgar Sevak (GRS) of Balasore District" addressing to the CDO-cum-EO, ZP, Balasore through Registered and Speed Post on or before Date 21.09.2024
2. Application should reach the concerned office of the undersigned by Regd. Post/ Speed Post latest by 21.09.2024 before 5.30 PM

- Filled in application form duly signed by the candidate
- Self-attested H.S.C. Certificate and Mark Sheet
- Self-attested 10+2 Certificate and Mark Sheet
- Self-attested certificate of equivalent qualifications of 10+2 from Boards/ Universities other than CHSE, Odisha if applicable
- Self-attested certificate in respect of Computer proficiency issued by Institutes accredited with NIELIT, OKCL, Central Universities/ State Universities/ Deemed Universities/ State Private universities whose list finds place in the Universities Grants Commission portal or AICTE or SCTEVT
- Self-attested Residential Certificate
- Self-attested Caste Certificate
- Self-attested Certificate of Disability if applicable
- Self-attested Certificate relating to Ex-Serviceman/ Sportsperson if applicable
- One recent Color passport size photograph affixed in the application form.
